About Us

In 1999, I got my first PC.  In that first year, I beat the Frogger game and sold my first item on eBay.  Today, I build websites from a blank page, manage a popular alternative health website, and consult with business owners about their website presence.

One of the things that I find fascinating about computers and the internet is that you can teach yourself, at your own pace.  When it comes to the world of information technology, it is impossible to know everything.  Most networking technicians know nothing about building websites or what makes an ecommerce site successful.  At the same time, most webmasters don’t know all the different programming languages, or understand usability, or have taken the time to study real search engine optimization.  I don’t fault other people for not having certain skills.  It’s just impossible to know it all.

One thing I know for sure is:  I know what I know and I know what I don’t know.  If a client needs something that I don’t know how to do, I can find someone who does.  When I need to learn a program or a special skill, I’ll set some time aside and study my latest desired area of expertise until I “break the back” of the project.

Everything I have learned in regards to the internet and computers is from trial and error and focusing on certain areas of study.  What does that mean for you?  It means that I started out just like you, staring at a monitor, wondering what I do next.

Yes, I do have a Bachelor’s Degree:  a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.  This means that I make the best Thanksgiving Dinner in the neighborhood.

It is my goal to provide a resource for anyone who wants to listen to real advice.  I have felt compelled to share some ideas and experiences because I run across business owners making some pretty big mistakes.

Any services that you see on this website are products that I actually use or suggest to my own clients.  If you purchase or use some of them, I may be eligible for referral income.  It helps with the time and expenses to present this information to you without cost to you.  But use these products and services knowing that I have also placed my own confidence in them to use in my own business.

Come back often to find more information about the ever-changing, strange and wonderful internet.
