Don’t be afraid to get help.

Even as a webmaster, none of us know everything. We’d like to know everything, but we don’t.  And when we need a task accomplished that we are not proficient in, we will go get help. This is one of the great things about the internet - help is waiting for you.  There are highly skilled programming individuals that are more than happy to work on your site for not a big fee and accomplish what you need to get done.

One of the services that I recommend is scriptlance.com. I use them on a regular basis to find people to take care of things that I don’t have time for. So for instance, if I have a feature on website that I don’t really have the understanding on how to put it together, then I’ll hire someone at scriptlance.com to do it for me.  They will do it very quickly and usually for a very good price.

The process in using scriptlance.com consists of describing your project, what you need done and the timeframe.  Then the post the project on the website and programmers will bid on your job. And once you determine who’s the best person for the job, you’ll pick their bid.  At that time you will communicate with your programmer and get them started on the job.  Once they finish it to your satisfaction, then you’ll pay the programmer through Scriptlance.com.  Everybody’s happy.
